Proudly born and raised in Metairie, Lane graduated from Brother Martin High School before attending Tulane University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Management with concentrations in Finance and Legal Studies while also serving as a starting member of Tulane’s football team. With 37 starts including the 2002 Hawaii Bowl, Lane built discipline and leadership that continue to guide his legal work today.
After college, Lane pursued a successful management role at AT&T in Birmingham, Alabama. During this time, he earned his MBA from Auburn University, building a strong foundation in business operations, negotiation, and critical decision-making — skills that later enhanced his legal strategy.
Lane’s heart remained in Louisiana. He returned to Metairie and enrolled at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, working full-time while completing his Juris Doctor. Balancing law school and work was demanding, but Lane’s determination never wavered, especially with a young family depending on him.
Lane’s experience on the field and hard-working attitude provide the perfect combination for an attorney that is always willing to go the extra mile to work for his clients. While he cannot deny the similarities between law and the sports world, Lane enjoys working as an attorney because he sees it as an opportunity to make a positive impact in people’s lives.
When he’s not in the courtroom, you can find Lane spending time with his wife, Candace, and their two beautiful children.
